Latest news: 16th October 2008: Vacancy update: We currently have vacancies in the trombone and baritone sections for experienced players. We have also begun classes for beginners. 4th October 2008: Workshop with Philip Harper - a day to remember. 27th September 2008: Huge success of Benefit Concert. 13th September 2008: Bournemouth visit breaks new ground. 2nd September 2008 'Music by the Sea' ends. On Tuesday 2nd September, the band played their last 'Music By the Sea' concert.26th August 2008 Wantage Silver Band, joint concert: Lyme Regis were joined on Tuesday 26th August by the Wantage (Oxfordshire) Silver Band, on holiday for the week in Charmouth.

A Message From the Chairman

It is an honour and privilege to be elected Chairman of Lyme Regis Town Band for a fourth year. As always, we have a very busy year ahead of us with all the usual engagements and some new ones.

I always enjoy playing on Marine Parade. It is a wonderful feeling to finish playing a piece of music and to look up to see and hear the appreciation of a large crowd of townsfolk and holidaymakers, all enjoying our music against the backdrop of Lyme Bay. We look forward to welcoming you at any of the engagements listed on our website. Don’t forget, our CDs are available at all concerts, price £7!
