The Chairman’s Award for young musician’s progress went to baritone player Ollie. Announcing the winner of the Bandmaster’s Award, Nicola Ockenden, decided by the joint conductors, Roger thanked the band for their hard work and dedication since February. He now looked forward to what promised to be an enjoyable and successful summer season. All awards will be officially presented at our Annual Christmas Concert on the afternoon of Sunday December 13th at the Woodmead Halls.

Commenting on the meeting, Roger said, ‘everyone has worked together extremely well. We are particularly grateful for the hard work of our Secretary, Gilly Warr and the excellent leadership of our Chairman, Paul Snowball. Here’s to our success for the remainder of 2015’.
