November update…

We had a fantastic band practice last night with an almost full turn out of band members.  For such a small band we are blessed to have such a great bunch of enthusiastic and committed players who travel considerable distances to be with us.
Last night we had three trombones, two euphoniums, one baritone, three horns, two basses and six cornets plus our percussionist and, with every part covered, the sound was amazing.  It is particularly nice to have five of our trainees with us, who now sit in with the full band on a regular basis.
After practising the music we will be playing at the Remembrance Ceremony on Sunday morning, we moved on to some more lively pieces in preparation for our visit to All Saints when we will be taking part in their Christmas Concert on Wednesday, 8th December.  This is an annual fixture for us and we all look forward to it.
If you are a brass player and would like to join us we are always pleased to welcome new members of all ages an abilities so do get in touch with us.  We would love to see you.
